We are always working on new features and improvements to the Orchestry platform to make sure that our customers are getting more and more value from Orchestry. This month we want to share some new amazing features, great improvements, and a bunch of pesky bugs that we have squashed!
Ahead of our next major feature release dedicated to Guest Management, we’ve been hard at work refining and enhancing the Orchestry experience to better support organizational branding, extend options for Workspace lifecycle, respect end user language preferences, and facilitate increased clarity of vital information.
New Archival Option for Microsoft 365 Groups
Introducing the Copy and Delete to Library Option. After gathering a great deal of feedback on our current archival features, we’ve rolled out the fourth method to help expand the ways organizations may retain Workspace content after it has been archived. Rather than moving content to a sub-site, we now support a more versatile option that uses document libraries to store Workspaces as a neatly packaged folder containing content and configuration you may wish to retain while deleting the original Microsoft 365 Group.
There’s so much to unpack here, look out for an entire blog dedicated to this new option and how it works. But imagine being able to take your Team, extract all the content including pages, documents, permissions, and move all of this to a target “archive” Library within your SharePoint.
In addition, we also extract metadata and fully respect the Microsoft 365 compliance features such as Retention and Sensitivity Labels!
Multi-Lingual Support
With many of our customers located outside of English-speaking countries, we now have support for other languages. You can easily specify additional languages that you want to present in Orchestry and make them available for your users.
Due to popular demand, we’ve begun introducing multi-lingual capability within the Orchestry application, with an initial focus on end-user experiences. The initial languages being offered beyond English are French, Norwegian, Dutch, German, and Swedish.
Once additional languages are enabled, end users can toggle to their preferred language within the supported options so that everyone is happy regardless of where they are and how they speak!
Email Footer Customizations
Many organizations want to align Orchestry to their custom brand and now you can! Orchestry has several ways to communicate to users including our built in Teams Activity Feed notifications as well as emails. Now you can customize the email footer that comes from Orchestry so that it looks like it comes from your organization.
Of course, just like the rest of Orchestry, it’s simple and easy to configure:
Once set up, all you need to do is pause and admire your newly branded Orchestry Notifications!
Enhanced Sharing Labeling
Orchestry has an extremely powerful reporting feature called Workspace Insights that allow you to see amazing information about your Teams, Groups, Team Sites and Communication Sites. Now for each Workspace that you have in Orchestry you can also see your Sharing Settings to make it super easy for administrators to see exactly which options are applied from a single place. Given the importance of understanding sharing settings, better visibility, and increased confidence is a win-win!
For Workspaces that are SharePoint only, you will see the status for SharePoint Sharing only.
Of course, we have a ton more amazing reports available so if you really want to know what is happening in your Microsoft 365 environment without going to 10 different areas, then get in touch.
